I live 5 miles from the Lincoln Tunnel, not in the middle of the Pine Barrens lol

I get to most points in Manhattan/Queens/Brooklyn just fine...Finback is in the middle of nowhere and not even close to any public transportation is my point

Other side of Lincoln tunnel is the Pine Barrens to most NY'ers lol.

I get your complaint but other people do get there and is convenient to others, just not you. There is a bus, some bike (can store inside tap room on bike rack), some take a quick car service ride from subway, and even long walk. Easy enough to bum a ride back from tap room to train if you ask around. Not every brewery is in BK and Queens is the new breeding ground for new breweries.

The bottle share is slowly growing and this is the first time it was posted on facebook, so better turnout in the future. Unlike OH, where if somebody farts, everybody smells it, since it's so tight, then immediately posted. Tons of space in the Finback taproom but it may never be packed there except for their special events and/or when they open the large garage door and have a outdoor grilling. Nothing like a summer brewery picnic atmosphere.

Is this a new BA version of Plumb and Proper? I know there's the regular one, plus the P & P with Brett. Just wondering if this is a new beer?

The one being released in bottles is aged on red wine barrels w/ Brett. Not sure if that's the same as the second one you listed, as I've actually never had it.

The keg that was tapped in the tasting room at their Anni party this year with Brett (the 2nd one) was oustanding. I was hoping they'd bottle it and it looks like they did.

Let's hope they handle the actual mechanics of the release itself better than BA BQE where everyone basically just sprinted to get in line.

Does anyone know what sort of quantity they have for the release? I saw the bottle limits, and would like to make it out, but don't want to get out there just to be shut out. It seems like their release would be much more low key than say the recent OH craziness. Anyone have experience with FB releases?

    Anyone check out the release?

Also, I just saw that today is their first day of canning. Great news.

I would love to know if they have any left for this weekend. Was planning on visiting Saturday.

Any idea when this will release and in what quantity? I confess I haven't read up, so if it's there, I apologize.

Happened to be in NY last weekend and went to the release for P&P and starchild. I had never been to the brewery before. I probably got there 2 hours after they opened and there was still plenty of both available. The brewery was pretty busy but didn't feel crowded. We ended up staying and doing a flight of all the beers.

Then I brought P&P and starchild to a tasting in Virginia this week and everyone seemed to really enjoy both.

Our first can release, Oscillation, a rotating series of hop forward beers. This Saturday at the brewery. $16 a 4-pack, $85 a case, 2 case limit.

I'm also curious how many cans and/or cases they actually produced.

The event on facebook says 1:30 so I would guess then.
