Made it out. Still have cans of Orange Crush (unsure how much). Shit is derricious. Good lookin out @Peterock27.

I've said it before; I'll say it again: Car2Go. $20 bucks round trip from Prospect Heights.

Something Simcoe was exquisite. These guys are legitimately firing on cylinders they never have before.

They are not firing on the being-open-during-drinking-hours cylinder. 5PM on a Friday is throwing a wrench in my plans. I am ready to drink haha.

Agreed. Wish I had bought more. Already killed my 4 pack. ME is fantastic as well!

Haha yes that is my only complaint too. On Fridays I either work in Montauk or Brooklyn (yea, I prefer Brooklyn) but am usually done by 2. Would love to stop by on my way home for some weekend beers since its on my way but not sitting around for 3 hrs.

Here now and it has been a while so here are my impressions:

    1. They were always weak on the IPA front to me, but no longer. Tried numerous IPAs, some with adjuncts, some traditional, and all on point.

    2. They have a kolsch that is not only good, but tastes and feels like a kolsch.

    3. Nice variety of beers on tap and a Brett beer and stout to share on-site or take to go.

    4. Lots of to-go cans and options.

    5. There’s a 12% imperial stout on tap and it has nothing added and tastes wonderful. Imagine that.

    6. Finback should be the first brewery to open a second location in the Bronx (excepting Gunhill’s second location in same borough).

You rent a car to go to a brewery to drink? I'm not normally the voice of reason around here but that sounds insane.

Nope. I may do a sample or two, but its essentially get cans and bounce. That clock is ticking!

You guys made me seek out some cans of Orange Crush at my local shop. Man it's crazy good. I'd think it's Julius if I drank it blind.

I mean, a $20 car rental is essentially just a cab or an Uber. Only difference is the seat you're in.

Without a doubt. I very well may stop by on my way home today to pick up some more. Its so damn good.

Wrong answer. Have you ever taken an uber from south Brooklyn to Finback? I'll standby while you price that out.

I was speaking in general for a quick ride, not on a specific destination, but I looked and an Uber would be twice that (each way). Which just furthers my point about $20 not being bad whatsoever for what he wanted to do.

:whale:psyched this could be closer to my new spot than the OG location, which is quite the hike on public transit for me now...

Just had that and Trees and Leaves (or whatever the name of that one is) and really dug both. The latter had some nice pine going on, which I was surprised to taste given the hop bill.
