I think ABC Beer was advertising that they have some Starchild cans.

Milk & Hops has them too. $4.50/can though...

I meant to add that Milk & Hops also have bottles of Lazy Ax in the cooler. $14.99 per

I had one the other day, and thought it was outstanding. Tons of chocolate and really smooth. It may be a touch sweet for some people, but it hit the mark for me.

One piece of advice - don't drink it at too low a temperature. I know this is always good advice, but the difference between drinking this immediately out of the cellar and after it warmed a bit was stark.

Epic bottling days this week! Keep an eye out for release, likely weekend of December 4th... and more cans coming soon too.

Got a single can of Starchild from my local store. Only can they had left.

Very tasty sour. I get a nice taste of grapefruit from it but it is not overpowering. I've heard some say this beer was too astringent and vinegary when it was bottled. I got none of that from this can. Nice dark malts lend a balanced backbone. Wish I had made it to the brewery that day to pick up more.

No, it is around town, though not inexpensive.

Saw it for $18 tonight and wasn't sure if it's worth that.

Yeah $14 a pop is what I've seen in Queens, but it was limit 1. Even that seems steep for a 16.9oz. Not sure i'd do $18.
