Does Finback 'deliver' or 'ship'? Tried the delivery URL on IG and when I entered my address was told I was out of range (I'm in western Suffolk).

They're delivering in certain parts of NYC, but shipping anywhere in NYS. It's a separate link for shipping vs delivery.

I've had some wine shipments and the UPS guy just said I will sign for you if that's ok and I said be my guest... don't blame them...

Quickly looked in the BK taproom from across the street, looks awesome - huge dripping neon whale, cool pink garage door

also a huge tease given the obvious

Tall Blades of Grass is good. The Sabro adds an interesting coconut flavor. This would be a great beer to sip on a beach chair. Whale Watching is amazing. I have no other word for it. It gets better with every sip. Mango creaminess.

I live less than 3 miles away from the (BK) brewery, how did you get yours first? Is there something in the Gowanus air that makes breweries hate their locals?

I liked your post because it was funny, but it is ridiculous I would get it first. I ordered on Friday evening for perspective.

Crap. Placed an order with Finback yesterday for shipping and got an email that there was a problem with my order. When I called the phone # provided last night and this morning I got a message saying the mailbox was full. WTF! Now what?

[EDIT] Just sent Finback an email with copy of receipt attached. Hopefully I'll get beer without too much hassle.

Okay okay, I ordered mine Saturday afternoon. Got a shipping notification late last night and it's arriving today. Fair enough.

Also looks like it's coming from the Queens location.

Gah, Finback is undermining my refrigerator space management system by delivering the beer 2 days early!

I'm a huge, huge Smooth Beats Miami fan. Picked up some Ultimate Beats this weekend and was not disappointed. That said, I think I prefer Smooth Beats because of its lower gravity. Would love to do a side-by-side comparison but Ultimate Beats struck me as having slightly more of an IPA character relative to the coconut.

Had Whale Watching last night, and will chime in to agree that it's a pretty fantastic beer. It borders on, and likely crosses into, the territory of "can only have 1" for me, which isn't a bad thing as I'll get to experience it as it "ages" over the next few weeks. The mouthfeel and intensity of flavor was too much to do again.

I'll compare it to Grimm's Mosaic Rewind, which I had after, and was far more quaffable and I could easily put 2-3 of those back in a sitting. On my couch. Which I would then fall asleep on.

Yea I think I may have a bias towards Ultimate since it’s the one I’ve had more recently and I haven’t had Smooth Beats in months. Either way, both are stellar!

Guys how does Brooklyn location pick up work? Do they have curbside or it’s just the same as the current counter set up at OH?

No order ahead that I’ve seen - just walk up to the counter and order. The Brett pils is great btw, if in the market
