Bought the Threadless IPA the other day. Pretty good. My feelings run contrary to what BA'ers say. I liked it. Sorta spicey and hoppy. Will be trying other Finch offerings.
Can't speak to that one...but I had samples of both the Secret Stach And Hardcore Chimera recently and thought both were pretty excellent. Been keeping an eye out for the Chimera since but I've only seen cases around and nothing in a smaller format.
Personally didn't love Threadless, but did really enjoy Hardcore Chimera (again more so than it's BA rating). That said, I have not seen the Hardcore Chimera on NE shelves. A friend in the Midwest sent me a couple cans is how I tried that.
I didn't like Threadless at all. It's possible it was well out of date. Incredibly bitter, with very little "juicy" or floral hop flavors.
Reviews are weird, man. My Threadless is hoppy and spicey. A typical West Coast stylized IPA. But refreshing and different. Not a citrus or pineapple bomb. A real thirst quencher. NONE THE LESS. Finch is a-ok in my book.
Great brew on tap when FRESH. I have never had a great experience consuming this beer from the can unfortunately
They need canning dates, honestly it's not that difficult. I tried Hardcore Chimera when it first came out because I knew it was fresh and I really enjoyed it, but I've stayed away from Threadless because I never know how old it is
Never been a big fan of Finch's, but recently I had the the Secret Stash and Chimera. The Chimera was pretty outstanding, especially the most recent batch.
Ive been finding fresh Chimera in CT. Really an excellent beer. However, their core line up has been very underwhelming.
