Finding BCBS in Northern Virginia

I sure hope they all have them. Will it be out this year or next year?

 

There was none in my area last year. I'm ecstatic to hear this news!

 

Total Wine Sterling got a ton last year. I saw it sitting at some whole foods in Feb still...

 

none of what? the barleywine is new so no one had that, but BCS was everywhere in RVA and stuck around for a bit. I think Coffee may have been a NoVA only thing at first...

 

We did not see BCBS here in the Newport News/VA Beach area last year. Unless it was carried by the stores I don't frequent.

yeah, the Tidewater area is pretty much like 4th on the priority list of markets here

 

so total wine in the nova area will carry? we live in alexandria but the closest one is in springfield and i constantly check their website but it's never really up to date/accurate. i would bet whole foods springfield will have it but that's a trek for me.

 

Limited stuff is rarely put on the website since it'll usually come and go before the site even updates. Your best bet for finding limited stuff at total wine is to know when the trucks come and what breweries come on a day (it's the same every week.) For me I just stop by or call every Wednesday and Thursday to see what came in when I know something might be coming. We will get bourbon county in nova, all variants except the chicago only coconut. It should be next week for all Total Wines except Sterling which should be getting it black friday morning.

Sterling is the only TW in the area that had any, and they had no variants. One 4-pack per person. They had maybe 6-8 cases behind the registers.

 

As of like 2 or 3 pm today WF clarendon was out of backyard but still had two cases of coffee and a couple of standard. They're sold at the bar upstairs not downstairs and if you don't talk to the right person downstairs you'd never know because they run a mediocre ship over there, cept the guy with the long curly black hair he's pretty great.
