She is a lady, hence she must like fruitiness, how misogynistic

Hell, if she hates beer, it's not easy to make her develop the taste at all. People who dislike beers usually dislike the 'bitterness'. You know. I love beers (obviously) but I drink my coffee with tons of sugar. Good luck and I hope she eventually joins this community.

If she likes fruity drinks then Lindemans Framboise or Ommegang Rosetta. On the other hand, maybe she just never will be a beer drinker - my wife isn't, though she'll drink some wine coolers. I can get her to try a sip of beer now and then but I haven't offered her Framboise or Rosetta yet.

    Try this bad boy...

My mom, who just turned 60, has cringed and hated every beer she has ever had (never even took more than one sip of any!) until I gave her this. She didn't even know what it was, as I swapped it in her glass, her thinking it was her flavored carbonated water crap, drank the whole thing, then I showed her...and now she's hooked. We'll see where we go from here, but I'll be damned that I actually got this far! Otherwise...who cares? Can't be for everyone! Cheers!

I've had her try everything. Sadly the answer is wine. But at least she loves the smell of Todd the Axeman.

Samuel Smith's organic chocolate stout is a goodie too. Hard to deny chocolate!

    Wait...

    She likes Redds?

    And you like Redds?

You answered your own question in the initial post.

From Australia: Stone & Wood Pacific Ale - the most popular drink with women at my local - it's got a nice easy-drinking peachy taste that goes down well.

I'd 2nd the Steigl Radlers. My wife's not really a beer drinker either, but she'll have one once in a blue moon. Radlers are really quite good and refreshing in this heat, Steigl is better than the other ones shes tried.

Definitely second the Rosetta, especially if your wife is a wine person. My wife does like Pilsners and Session IPAs, but that's basically it, and Rosetta is the one exception.

We've been married 33 years, take it from someone who's been in your place, DON'T, just don't.

Unless she wants to like beer to make you happy, that statement does not make sense.

Just to reiterate what some other posters have mentioned:
If she doesn't like beer, she doesn't like beer. Don't worry about it.

I've been married 35 years and my wife doesn't like beer either....now pour her a nice glass of wine and, well, there you go. (She's really into Corsican wines now)

Why would you try to force her to like beer if she doesn't? Why would she try to force herself to like beer if she doesn't? Seems like you should accept that you and your wife won't always like the same things, and find places that serve beers that you like and wines/mixed drinks/Scotches on the rocks that she likes.

My wife has tried a ton of beers (admittedly, she does like Sip...), but she much prefers wine and martinis. It makes trips to Vermont fun, because we can go to Fiddlehead and then head across the street to Shelburne Vineyards.

Thanks for all the replies! She is anxious to try some of the beers you've mentioned. And to those who are thinking its better for her not to have any beer, i thank you for your input as well. I really should have phrased the question differently. The thing being all the beers that ive had her try she didnt enjoy (besides redds) and she would like to find a beer that she likes (also besides redds) so thanks again for all the input.

I took that as more guessing the if-not-beer-then-wine angle, than making a women-assumption. Those that favor wine might be more inclined to like beers that have some of the same elements. *shrug*

My wife would never drink beer past a sip. The last two years she has started to try my beers with much greater frequency. She wants to enjoy my craft beer drinking with me but it just isn't in the cards for her.

She has drank her own bottle of Rubaeus a few times now. She has enjoyed Odd Side Hazel's Nuts even though she hates bourbon. Her new discovery beer is Ellison Tiramisu Stout. She drank over half my pint at a ballgame recently so I had to go back and get another.

You may also want to try Dark Horse 4 Elf in a few months.

Beer that doesn't taste like beer? I think they call that wine. Seriously, if she really hates beer, then she hates it. Just leave her alone and let her enjoy the things that she likes. I never get the point of questions like this.

I think the little winky face was a very important part of his response. I'm going to use the little green guy to convey that I'm being a smart ass. Cheers sir.

My wife hates beer and when we were at a concert she was drinking my Sierra Nevada Pale Ale and loved it. She told me it was awesome and that she would drink that again for sure. So give that a shot.
I would probably get a 6 pack of mixed bottles from light to dark, fruity to sour etc. I am sure you can find something for her, if not then suggest wine or mixed drinks HA HA.
