I'm new to this site and I'm not involved in the beer industry in anyway. However I do like to find a good bargain and recently discovered the site saveonbrew dot com. It allows the user to filter for only microbrews so you can scan all the deals at local stores that advertise beer prices. Does anyone use this or know of other sites to hunt down a good beer bargain?

I always say bargin hunt and shop around. I usually go to case places. Thats where you get the best deals. The place I do for example hasn't updated their sales on the website for a while. I went in there and got a case of evil guy IPA variety for 18 bucks.

Not sure where you are located but you might want to ask in the regional forum that is appropriate for where you live as those people will have the best idea of which places have the best deals.

FYI, after needing it this afternoon for the first time in quite a while, I've come to find out that they ceased operation, despite their site still being up, social network presences still up and mobile app still operating, back in late December.

Wasn't a profitable business model is what the reasoning was on the announcement on their Facebook page....wish it could have been on their main site, but ah well, what can you do.

To me the variance in prices is not enough to justify chasing all over hell's half acre and burning gasoline to save 75 cents. Find the store that is convenient to you that is reliably competitive, and then support that store as long as they have the variety that you want. Developing a frequent-buyer relationship can be beneficial to you when the store has limited release beers that you crave -- they may hold a special bottle or a 6-pack back for you.

HAHA this site shows no results for PA residents! We don't get any advertised beer bargins!
