Any of you midlantic beer guys know if it's on tap near Philly? Any beer distributors that sell it out of a can? Or is this more of a fantasy than a shot with Emily Ratajkowski?
Philly does not get bottles. But it does show up on tap fairly often at beer bars in the city and suburbs, and lasts a lot longer than it did 10-15 years ago when it was huge deal. I saw Blue Dog Pub in Lansdale post about having it on tap last week. Monk's Cafe seems to have it on tap more often than not. Looks like they currently have it: https://www.monkscafe.com/on-tap
JMD: Here's a good tip for you. Candlewyck Lounge and Mad Princes Brewing are literally right across the street from each other. Usually Candlewyck has 8 microbrews on tap, but they rotate. Mad Princes NEVER has ordinary beer and almost no IPA. They are rare at that place. Right now they have a beer with one malt and one hop that's very good. Their website will tell you what they're currently serving up. About 35 minutes from Lansdale.
Philly is like the one place east of Colorado it's actually around on a regular basis. Monk's famously always has a RR on tap and a huge bottle list of their stuff, but nothing to-go. The Boat House in Conshohocken had PTE and Marie helles on tap, and Supplication bottles in their shop, when I was there a few months back.
Blue Dog Pub just posted about Pliny The Elder being back on draft today. Bistro on Bridge in Phoenixville posted they are having an event and tapping Pliny for President 2024 edition on 1/26 at 11am.
Pliny for President is a double dry-hopped version of Pliny the Elder, including one or two new hop varieties! From BoB's Facebook page.

Will do - we use the name Space Wranglers (my favorite band is Widespread Panic). Only been at Blue Dog a couple times for Trivia recently. My wife and I for several years went to Blueprint's Trivia regularly since we live in Harleysville. But since they closed last year we have been hitting a rotating list of places for Trivia - Well Crafted, Stove and Tap, Imprint, Ten7, Brothers Kershner. And now it looks like Round Guys is bringing back their Thursday Trivia Night with their transition back into a taproom. Going back a few years we used to go to that during the rugby off season.
