It seems near impossible to find G Bot cans in fairfield county at this point. Does anyone have any idea where it may be found? Anyone in southern CT want to trade for some SoS?

I've only seen G Bot cans in those mixed 6 packs, 4 of Sea Hag and 2 of G Bot, recently around the Hartford area. Haven't seen a G Bot 4 pack in some time.

4 packs are somewhat available in fairfield county, but easier to find in new haven county. I haven't seen any cans since the 1/20 batch. I haven't been following the whole name change thing. But i would expect to see a new batch soon, whether it is gandhibot or a new name. They usually come around once a month. Although, i was just at the brewery wednesday and noticed there was no palates of gandhi in back so it is hard to say.

My local in Cromwell had it yesterday, but they sold out quickly. I haven't seen it on a retail shelf in >> 1 year

My local package store I shop at 3x a week offered me a 4 pk yesterday. I declined and told the owner, "That's OK, I won't pay $19 for it." She replied, "I know, it's expensive." I replied, "Well the max suggested retail is $12.99 , so you're probably getting it for around $9/ 4 pk, and making more off of the beer then the guys that brewed it." She ignored me, bagged up my beer and just said "thanks honey". Thank God Treehouse is expanding and canning, I am so sick of the package store BS around rare beers.

Ok. Sounds unlikely that I will find any.

I haven't seen the four packs in over a month now. I have been getting SoS fairly regularly now (by that I mean a rationed 2 cans from my local packie when they call me). The frenzy around GB, SoS and Captain's Daughter in this area is getting obnoxious, which is why I mainly stick to growler fills. Also, I'd honestly rather drive the 90 minutes to Stonington a couple times a month and fill up at Beer'd than pay higher prices or go from store-to-store and ask a them a question I probably already know the answer to. Oh, and I only expect this trend to get worse when Tree House cans start making their way around.

I het the feeling that SoS is going to end up being a regular in the cooler. They are getting it in larger quantity this time around it seems.

A few smaller shops that i know of that normally get it didnt get any this time. Probably because so many stores are requesting it now. That would be awesome if it was more frequent and easier to find but i doubt that will happen any time soon.

I've basically given up on searching for Gandhi cans at this point. It's on pretty regularly at the brewery so I'll fill some growlers a couple times a month and if I happen to run into some cans, that's great. But they've been so difficult to find for a while now and I'm tired of getting condescending remarks from store employees when I ask for it.

Really does seem like they must get asked for it all day long because almost every time I have asked, it immediately turns the store owner/worker into a douche.

I heard the last round of gandhi bot cans is going out this week

I still don't understand why it's such a big deal around here. I drank my last fbd growler last night. Amazing. I can stop by nebco after work and painlessly fill 3 growlers.

I think it's going to be limited right now because I heard they're changing the name. I got 2 cans from M&R in Glastonbury on Wednesday. Got a 4 pack of SoS on Friday in Cromwell. Wish it wasn't so hard to find these beers and wish when I did, they didn't gouge the prices.

Because it's not just a stop after work for a lot of people? Wish I had the time to take a one and half hour round trip after work just to get some beer, but I don't.

That's why I said "around here." I can never find it in the Fairfield or Bridgeport area. It's a 25 minute drive. It's also hard to find in NH county.
