Finding great beer in unlikely locations

There's a drug store in Bordentown NJ (suburb of trenton) that has one of best selections of craft beer in maybe a 25mi radius. I have no idea how that works.....

 

So people DO actually find Cantillon on the shelf. Interesting.

 

I was in some Ma and Pa on the way to Mildura Australia in the middle of nowhere and found 4 packs of Founders Breakfast Stout sitting on the bottom shelf.

Every once and a while Wegmans shocks me. i.e. two weekends ago I was browsing and wasn't really expecting to find anything great, and then came across The Abyss for $13.99. Needless to say, it was a good afternoon.

Only regret was buying one.

 

Parti Pak Liquors on the southside of Indy. Very sketchy neighbourhood near where I went to high school. It's not so much a mystery nowadays, but it used to be a secret honey hole. Still have a big 2L of the Stone Vertical Epic 12.12.12.

I was at Uno's on Sat night. Still waiting for them to get Carton on the menu...at least when I'm there

 

At the Edeka over here in Berlin at Hermannplatz... Man.. The best beer selection for being right in line with Lidl, Aldi,Rewe (these are the super cheap super markets around here). Czech it out if you are in that area.
