I will be visiting UC Irvine 3/14-3/16 and was hoping to find a couple bottles of PtE near by. Is this feasible, and if so what bottle shops are my best bet?

Total Wine in tustin and hollingsheads deli in orange are you best bet. Usually get shipments on Tuesdays and fridays

Whole foods in tustin. Just so you know, both whole foods and total wine will limit you to 1 bottle. Most places have some limit.

I wish they had this pub when I was a student there. I heard they even had PtY last month.

Hi-Time Wine Cellars in Costa Mesa is another option.

If you venture into the Tustin area, here's another place to try - Bradley's - http://bradleysliquor.com/

thanks for the tip about Bradley's. Very close to my house and I had no idea about it. Seems a good place for RR & other hard to finds.

Make the 28 minute trek to Beachwood. I can't recall a day when they haven't had Pte or Blind Pig on draught.

Grab there chicken nachos, send me a thank you bottle for the mouth orgasm

I guess you are are aging yourself. It was there in the mid-90's when I went there. (I'm aging myself now)

Great tip on Bradley's ... I picked up Pliny The Elder, Supplication, Kneedeep Simtra, Lagunitas Sucks and two bottles of Stone Enjoy By 04.01.13 just this week. I go to Tustin Brewing somewhat frequently, and never knew this place was right across the street.

I've been to Bradley's a few times and they always have a pretty good selection and their prices are in line with most other shops. Except for some reason their Pliny pricing. It was my first time getting Pliny there today and it came out to $7.60 after tax and crv. I guess I'll be buying my Pliny elsewhere.

While i like my pliney from bradleys, for a little more than the price of 2 bottles of it, you can go across the street to Tustin Brewco and get a growler of fresh Old Town IPA instead.
