Does any1 know how I can go about finding out where I can get second fiddle aside from the can releases? Like what stores they deliver to and when the best time of the week is to go? ( particularly on Thursdays) Thanks in advance!!
I have only seen Second Fiddle on a shelf once at Healthy Living in South Burlington. It actually was not on a shelf, it was on a cart along with Heady and SoS on a Wednesday afternoon. When the stock boy wheeled it out it was like a bunch of hyenas on a wounded gazelle. The Second Fiddle actually got cleared out before either of the other two.
It generally hits stores a few days after canning and is gone that day. The Stores that get deliveries only get 3-5 cases.
Is there an SF release this weekend? I swear I saw someone mention it but didn't they just do a release last weekend?
Yea I spoke to them today. There is a can sale for SF this Saturday and apparently there are no limits as to what you can buy. Unfortunately I won't be around so if some1 still has some come next week and wants to trade maybe I will have some heady or SOS by then
They say they typically do 2 a month and this saturday will be the 2nd in a row so I highly doubt it...
How fast does this sellout? Heading up to VT today, but want to hit HF and Parker Pie first. Any idea it will still be around by 4 or 5?
I called them yesterday to ask the same question. They told me they sold out 350 cases in 90 minutes last Saturday
Yikes. I have only been there once before and it took alot longer than that to sell out. I was hoping to hit up fiddlehead tomorrow and grab a few 4 packs but it looks like i might be a little late. Seeing as 300 beer enthusiast are headed to burlington for the focal release it will probably sell out early again.
I would not assume so. Last batch they sent some out to stores prior to release (no idea if they did that this week) and some folks will be headed to EBF and Swish releases this weekend....big weekend all the way around so you may get lucky...
Good points. Plus it looks like hill still has some flora left so alot of people might try to make it there first.
