Hi all....driving through the eastern side of Iowa in late June (North on the Great River trail up to Minneapolis). I won't be able to stop at the brewery itself due to time constraints, but does anyone know of any good bottle shops in Eastern Iowa that carries Toppling Goliath brews?
You're going to be really close to the brewery - like 30 minutes. I don't know how tight your schedule is, but a drive to Decorah, and back to the river road isn't a big deal at all. If you won't stray from the Great River Road, hit up Stark's in Prairie Du Chien. It's literally across the bridge from the Iowa GRR at Marquette. They usually have TG.
https://www.beermenus.com/places/4976-safe-house-saloon It says the last time it was updated was 5/9 but you might get lucky.
Here is a map of their bottle accounts. Good luck! http://batchgeo.com/map/?i=e3f1e79817188acc254cb6e10f2c19e5&q=
Highly recommend making the drive to Decorah off the Great River Road. Beautiful drive and great scenery. Always make that drive when I head up from the QC. Decorah is a wonderful town.
I'll second Starks in Prairie Du Chien. Right across the bridge in Wisconsin . Small little liquor/hunting/fishing store that gets pretty consistent shipments of TG. Plus you can grab some New Glarus while you're there!
