    Greetings Aussies,
I have some Aussie friends I met through Clash of Clans. We've been talking to these fine people for over and year and my friend Marty has a big desire to try Yeti (and possibly the variants) from Great Divide Brewing company. He lives in Gosford area which looks to be about 90 minutes drive to the north. I believe his girlfriend lives in Penrith but she may have moved.
It appears "Beer Cartel" 9/87 Reserve Road Artarmon NSW may have Yeti for sale for A$14.50. Is this going to be the only place they would be able to get Yeti? I suppose it's not terribly convenient for either of them.
If I was a top bloke I'd just mail them some bottles of Yeti, but I am guessing shipping to "down under" would be quite costly and I'm not sure I could ensure the fair treatment of my package. (not to mention might be violating some sort of international law).
You all seem a friendly bunch so I thought I would see if you had any ideas. So far they have been to some different bottle shops (Bottlo?) and haven't found any.
    Thanks in advance.

Well Beer Cartel ships, so you should be able to just order on their website and send it to his home, they deliver across Australia. If you have troubles pm me, I know the guys there.. Im sure they can help you out.

ps, you are a top bloke!

yep just order it and get it fuggin shipped,
I think they have a 12 bottle minimum,
so that should give him a good opportunity to try it.....

My recommendation: Get him to order Yeti off beercartel or another local shop (a lot of local shops have carried this beer over the years), and send him a BA Yeti for a side by side!

Thanks for the replies gentlemen. One member made a generous offer to ship a bottle to his house. Unfortunately he currently lives with his parents and said they wouldn't allow his address to be given out. So anyway, I guess the onus is on him to go grab one at Beer Cartel. I will forward him the relevant info.

Seriously BA members are the best. I looked and it appears it is $63 US for a flat rate medium box
    13-5/8" x 11-7/8" x 3-3/8"
    11" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Maximum 20 lbs

and $82 for a flat rate "large" box. I think I could MAYBE get 4 bombers in a flat rate box with styrofoam shippers.
    23-11/16" x 11-3/4" x 3"
    12" x 12" x 5-1/2" Maximum 20 lbs

Should his living situation change, I have options to get him the goods.

make sure you label those babies 'yeast samples' not beer when you are shipping internationally!

No, he's a young guy, 22 I think. Currently lives with his parents as many people his age do. His parents own a business but he said they are "old school" and would probably be upset if he got a package from someone they don't know at their home address. Anyway, someone on BA helped me out, and as we speak he's got Yeti cooling in his fridge. We shipped it to his parent's business instead. I hope he likes it!
