So Findlay Brewing has re-opened at a new location, and it's completely different from their previous incarnation. The new building is huge, high ceilings and lots of modern fixtures and the like. They've also got a kitchen, as well as several guest taps. We went on their opening day a few weeks ago, and tried several beers a food items. They had 4 versions of a pale ale: regular, dry-hopped, mango and Carolina Reaper, all of them were solid. They also offered a hazy IPA that my wife enjoyed, and maybe another 5 beers of their own. As it was crowded and hot, we didn't stay and sample everything, but they're worth checking out if you're in the area.

It's on East Crawford, just a couple of blocks off of Main St. About a block from Alexandria's and the Bourbon Affair. It's in the liquor district!

I occasionally pass thru Findlay while traveling to southern Ohio to visit relatives, but I have not stopped there yet to check them out. I see that the info in the BA database has the old address, so I'll recommend that you submit the change to get it up to date. Your post above is almost like a review of the place too, so you could create a Places review of the brewery while you're at it so everyone will know your opinion of the brewery.

Thanks for the update posting here. I'll try to stop on a future trip.

How is the kitchen? Findlay is a nice stop for me traveling at dinner time and I stopped going to the old location because there was no food. '

I'll need to stop by the new place. And they are back on the Ohio On Tap App...

I was kind of waffling between thinking it seemed like a review and just a head's up that they're back open and totally different. I didn't see any way to update my initial review of the place. But I'm somewhat challenged when it comes to navigating the internet.

Yeah, kitchen is pretty good. Portions are huge, and the prices are probably in line with that. Had the soup, a burger and the pepperoni slices. Chef owns a local "Asian Fusion" restaurant that has gotten good reviews.

You have a couple way that you can do it if you want. You can edit your existing review by starting with your new text above the old one with a current date at the beginning so readers will realize that it is an update. I've done that after second/third visits to places when major changes have occurred. I usually then add a line of asterisks as a separator from the old review.

On the first page of the brewery's BA place page next to your rating score at the top you can also click View. Your old review will come up and you'll have an option at the bottom to Edit or Delete. If you delete and write a new review it will rise to the top and be more visible, so that's a plus. However, I don't know if you get more Karma points for writing a 'new' review, or if a 'delete' and 'add' will just wash out to be no new karma.

But it's up to you if you want to do anything. If I ever make it there I'll do a review, but hopefully others will also visit and write reviews in the meantime.
