Mass Riot (and its sister Riot in Vermont) were both absolutely incredible and worthy of the paste honor.

Oh, okay. I haven't been to the Wildflower Cafe yet. Apparently the Wildflower Cafe, the Crooked Rooster Pub, and Nickel's Pit BBQ are all owned by the guy that owns Roosterfish Brewing.

First visit to Prison City today. Visiting from out of town. Nope on a Rope IPA on tap. Wow....really good hazy and juicy. Up there with some of the best IPA's I've had.

Had to respond to this, only because I grew up down the road from where Two Goats opened up and it's always my go to when I'm visiting home. I agree their beer itself isn't all that great, but it's an awesome bar (especially in the off season, gets a bit gross in the summer with all the tours) run by some excellent people. I think one of the biggest reasons they carry lots of commercial beers is that they're really somewhere in between "Bar" and "Brewery." I almost always get their beers when I'm there, but I like that they're not pushing them too hard.

My trip is mostly based one visiting breweries to try their fresh made beer, So as i rate the places its mostly pure just of the beer they brew. With that i dont dubt that it may be a cool place to hang and drink, I am looking at it from a different perspective

Ithaca guy here who just loves this place to death. The people, the vibe, the roast beef... the people. Folks are so receptive to the live music they bring in. I haven't played there in a while, but I'm so looking forward to Saturday night with (shameless plug!) the Small Kings.

Best beer: Whiskey Richard, a big stout aged in barrels from the distillery down the street. The shit is dangerous.
