They say they ship to the US - is this true? Placed an order over a week ago, got a confirmation of the order, then nothing. The charges went through but no ship date or anything. Sent an email and called but have not heard back. Did I make a mistake in ordering from here? I am I waiting for them to send an order that is supposed to be picked up in store?
From their website: "Delivery: available throughout British Columbia. You can expect your order to be delivered within 3 to 5 business days. You must be of legal drinking age to accept the delivery. Delivery is currently available on weekdays only through local delivery and with DHL out of our local areas."
Crap. Then why would they see my US shipping address, charge me and not tell me? The money is still gone and they aren't answering emails.
I was just looking around the site after hearing about it, and saw the word cantillon - after that my brain turned off...
Technically they cannot ship outside of their province and could risk loosing their liquor license, I imagine they could use a broker to ship internationally. I am surprised they saw your U.S address and proceeded with the sale. Well at least they realized the mistake and refunded the money.
Looks like this isn't actually resolved. 2 weeks after my last post, still no reversal of charges. Called them, they said they would take care of it again. Another week and the charge is still sitting in my card! I am now being charged interest on a purchase that cannot be honored! I am calling again today, and if they can't fix it I am reporting the charge as theft. It's been over 3 weeks since they were initially asked to reverse the charge, I figure that's more than enough time.
