Firestone Anniversary aging?

    @AndrewK in all the verticals I've had from when 13 came out till 18, 13 has always been a crowd favorite. Others are good too, but people unanimously favor 13 - as do I. 11 and 12 trade off exhibiting what you say when I open bottles. Hope 13 doesn't start fading off.

    We did 10-16 a few months ago, and everyone loved every vintage. Having only had two of them fresh I can't speak for their deterioration, but they certainly didn't taste like there was any.

    I havent had 13 in about two years, and at that time thought it had started to drop off (though not as much as 12), but it could have had to do with that particular bottle's cellaring conditions. If the consensus is that it is still drinking well, that is great, as it was one of my favorite years.

    I have (I think) three bottles stashed in the cellar. Don't know when I'll be opening one again, but when I do I'll update you on its status
