Ridiculously good. Got a shipment from Cali-Pliny, Dorado, Simtra, Denogginizer, Double DBA, Femme Fatale Brett, and Whiteout. I'm just shaking my head after Double Jack. Pliny-Hopslam good mofo. Put a Dogfish next to the Cali collection and amazing how malty it was compared to the California brews.
I'm excited to try their Double DBA too. I have one more Double Jack left. I wish I hadn't hit the Plinys right away so I could put them next to each other. I honestly think Double Jack could give Pliny and Hopslam a scare. I put those in my three that for me personally come as close to perfect as a beer experience can offer. On a side note, what I really dig about California IPAs is the medium body and man we go on about citrus in our IPAs, but their citrus is so different. I read a review on Pliny that nailed it perfectly contrasting what we produce, RIPE citrus, and when I licked my lips after a swig of Double Jack I could taste sweet orange/tangerine. I'm so in love.
