i've been hearing this more and more lately, in real life.

it's just funny to me to hear people in LA talk about working in "the industry" and not be talking about the film industry

I had to Google that just to be certain.
"The activity is known in the vape world as 'cloud chasing.'" Ugh.

There's a place nearby the fairgrounds called Margie's Diner. Huge portions

That place gets packed the morning of the fest though... be prepared for a decent wait. It's good diner grub though.

yup, get there early on festival day as it's at least a 40 minute wait. I just ended up doing some Jack in the box near the event.

I've found that it's actually smart to not eat too much beforehand. There is a lot of food available, and much of it with very little wait time. Just grab and go on your way to lines and you'll maintain a nice level of booze/food ratio.

Yeah I definitely don't want a big breakfast before all of that drinking. I usually grab a bagel and that's about it.

Thanks for all the tips on food! I knew they're be food at the event but wasn't sure how much there'd be or if it'd be filling at all.
So stoked about this event, next week can't come quick enough!

Anyone have any experience with the shuttles, i.e. are there lines/waits? That sort of thing. We'll be riding the bus up from the Courtyard.

Like just as in leaving room for beer? I'm asking for a midday hangover or blackout situation if I go to a generally high abv beer fest on a low or empty stomach.

Pretty much. I don't want to be full going into a festival like that. They have plenty of food once you get in so I typically have something reasonable for breakfast and then eat when I get in.

Gotcha. I'll probably do the same. I really wish I would have eaten during the CBS party last weekend. Whooooboy was it a rough morning.

I mean, you probably know what works best for you. I'll do my small breakfast and then probably have a snack with me for the line to get in and then bring a bottle of water. For me, hydration is more important than the food side of things.

I'd bet it does given that it did last year. I don't think any of them are really worth the wait though.
