I'm fairly sure that the overlap is one of the main reasons why they currently don't have Parabola. Pay a couple of bucks for a taster pour of it or just $17 for 22oz of it. no brainer.

 

Parabola bottles were sold out at Barrelworks today too. Did it go faster this year or are they timing bottles? They were pouring tasters!

Even with the indefinite single bottle purchase, I think the selection of vintage bottles available for sale is better at FWV than BW right now... I love LA.

 

I think they do just time release stuff and space it out.

 

FWIW I did pick up a Parabalajava and a FW19 this afternoon. They did not have Parabola though

 

Went yesterday. Just the right amount of busy, nice place. No parabola in the shop or on tap, they substituted sucuba on tap. I got a PJ, 19 and Merkin.

 

I was told on Friday they had about 20 cases of PJ.

Picked one up on Saturday and also a SLOambic.

Also sales moved back into the retail store on Thursday. Permit issues are all cleared up. For now.

 

Damn it!!! I just realized that I forgot to pick up a SLOambic as a graduation present to my step-sister.

 

Rolled by yesterday 4/25 and was very impressed with the setup! They were out of Parabola at the store, but said they would be receiving more early next week. Still a bunch of Parabajava / Sucaba and four Barrelworks offerings (Agrestic, Bretta Weisse, SLOambic & Feral One). Still have limits (one each) and require DL to purchase.

Also, The Propagator is now open for lunch on weekdays! I was only expecting to check out the retail shop, but was surprised to the see the restaurant open. The staff said that they just started the new lunch hours and it will stay that way moving forward. I didn't get the exact hours, but guessing open by noon for the lunch rush.

 

On the weekends they open at 11am for lunch, so I would assume the same for weekdays.

 

Really hoping there'll still be some Parabajava left by the time I make it up to LA for work. I got a bottle of Parabola and would like to try them out side by side.

 

They have about 40 Parabajava 2015 bottles on display right now filling up the fridge. Who knows how many more in the back.

No parabola bottles or tap. Bretta rose releases this weekend. I saw the truck unloading kegs of Rose, so it should be on tap too!

 

If you want Parabola, you can go to Costco....

 

Unless we see a sku number, no one cares and chasing the costco dragon is a fools errand.

Anyone know if the teku glass is sold at the store or another local shop?

 

the company store should have it. Not sure where else would you find it.

 

I can confirm the BW teku is at the store, saw it yesterday. Didn't grab a price tho
