What are the limits on parabola at venice? Still 2?

 

I'm not even sure they have Parabola. Better to just call in.

 

They don't from what my friend tells me. They do have it on tap inside but are only pouring 3 oz at a time

 

Also, limit was 1 bottle when they did have it. Started at two and got knocked down to 1.

 

So what are we anticipating in terms of crowds/madness for Rye Double DBA?

 

I hope not too crazy... I need to be back in the valley by 2 for a baby shower

 

I don't think it'll be crazy packed, at $30 a pop.

I'd like to try it on tap, but I doubt I'll make it this weekend.

 

The label lists 4000 cases produced, more than Parabajava. Can't see any reason to go on the release day when they'll surely have it available long after.

 

Finally went tonight to check the place out. Stopped by the store to pick up a new glass. They had '15 Merkin, '16 Sucaba and '16 Parabola for sale.
The wife and I then went over to the restaraunt. They had just tapped a keg of 18th Anniversary. Of course I had some. The food was great. Pork belly tacos and braised short rib. And a pretzel. Only complaint was that it was absolutely packed and we had to go to the self seating bar section. Our server was a bit overwhelmed.

 

Are the bottle sales still being done through the restaurant? I need some bottles of the Rye Double DBA but I don't know if I'll make it before the gift shop closes.

in total probably 50-60 lined up. we're inside the restaurant now but there's plenty of rye DDBA

parabola and bretta rose also available, limit 1 each

 

Are they selling? Or just more ppl showing up?

 

I don't know how the line is right now as I'm inside the restaurant. when I lined up at 11:30 there was about 18 in front. By the time we got inside grabbed our beers and left there was probably about 40 ish people in line. But like I said before there's plenty of rye's available

 

on my way to the bathroom I peaked outside the lines only about 18-20 now. they have sticky monkey, 18th anniversary and bretta rose on tap inside the restaurant

 

Thanks guys. I stopped by on my way through up to Thousand Oaks. Didn't have time for a line since I'm with the family. That was around 1pm. I'll take my chances tomorrow on my way home. Hopefully it'll be a little easier.

 

I stopped by around 1:40 and no line. Easy in and out.

 

Same. Was there at 7, and they had plenty. STiVO Pils was on tap in the restaurant but not listed too
