My guess is that Ms. Wilson has good taste in food, like she does beer. Speaking of which Highland Park Brewery opens in two minutes. I got off early from work, might head over there to cool off with some fresh Bonkers. Then head to Salazar for some al pastor tacos, with guac

 

The pastor tacos at Salazar are bomb! I suggested to the co-owner that they serve HPB beers but I'm not so sure that's going to go anywhere. Seems like a perfect match to me--Hello LA + Salazar tacos!

 

Tacos look legit. I approve. I also had my Bonkers but from Select Beer store

Here's the thing though: a bit of conflicting info from alesmith:

Can anyone speak to how the weekend lunch crowds are looking lately? Hoping to make a visit saturday or sunday and hope to not have to worry about getting a table. Thanks.

 

I went on Father's Day about 12:30 and we walked in.

 

Has anyone asked them about the reasoning behind 3 oz. pours for all the Barrelworks stuff? Was surprised to find that out last night when I stopped in.
