Once the beer is flowing, theoretically yes, it will be on the website. Growler AND crowler fills soon-ish!

    From their Instagram post:

"Attention beer drinkers: the moment is finally upon us. Tomorrow, Wednesday, Nov. 23, @firestonewalker_propagator is releasing its first in-house brew! We present to you Generation 1, an unfiltered west coast IPA. Stop by & try it on draft!"

Spoke with the new brewer on Sunday. This IPA clocks in around 7.6% ABV and has Citra and Mosaic hops. They open @ 11am.

Is there anywhere to find the bottles available for sale at the bottle shop in Venice?

I was wondering if the BA Pacific Gravity Weizenbock was going to be released on Black Friday.

Saw it on another thread, but can't seem to find a confirmation anywhere.

can't imagine that it's going to be something folks go crazy about. So here's hoping it just sticks around for a while.

Personally I like Weizenbocks, even more so if they spend some time in the barrel. So I'm looking forward to stopping by and picking up a bottle.

But I wouldn't expect to lawn chairs setup at 2AM.

I would think the odds are good that bottles will survive the day.

$169 is what they posted. Highway robbery in my opinion.
2015 Helldorado and stickee, 2014 parabola and a brownywine.

    Absurd.

Verdad, dat. I remember my first visit to Paso Robles, gazing slack-jawed at the $75 price tag of an FW XIII, then only 3 years old.

I remember last year during valley bev's Xmas sale this one dude was throwing a tantrum because valleybev was charging more than retail for a 2 year old beer. He tagged firestone on it. Multiple people pointed out that Firestone changes close to double for that same bottle.
I like Firestone but whoever came up with those vintage bottle pricing formula should be flayed... or at least called a bad name.

The funny thing is most beers do not significantly improve with age. Sure they change, sometimes in interesting ways, more often they either just hold their own, or decline.

Regardless, none of these cases justify the vintage pricing we often see ( not just at Firestone ).

This is why I generally avoid vintage sales. I like high end beers, but vintage sale often have the quality / price to far out of alignment for my taste.

The good news is, the pricing does keep them available for longer time periods, for those that really want the bottles.

Just recently saw a Vintage Pack at the Paso site. PNC, FW17, Helldorado, Stickee monkey for $275 or so. Im guessing some people would buy it just for the PNC.
