"Coming Soon" sign would have been misleading had it been hung two years ago....

Progress is underway, permits are a nightmare, very late 2015/early 2016 more realistic.

Anyone go by there and care to share a picture of what it looks like on the outside as of now?

Not much else to add just yet to this other then to say I'm still looking forward to it, even thought going to Venice is about 30-40 min away from me (I'm in Canoga Park) but that barrel works lounge photo looks really promising, and has renewed my excitement! Even if they only have some a few drafts and an occasional bottle sale, it's still less of a drive for me and others I know that live in Santa Monica to go the Venice rather then Buelton.

Walk by on Sunday. Slow progress. Looks like they installed the door.

Not a massive space, is it. Was at Barrelworks last Friday and the list was immense.

its actually a decently large space if you look at the plans and then look at the inside photos so far

I'm sure they secured all permits before starting construction.

Doesn't matter what permit you got when the City comes and tells you the bathroom needs to be completely redone because the sink is 36.7 inches tall instead of 36.9 inches. Building shit in city of LA is expensive and difficult, especially beer places.
