It is pretty convenient. Food is all around (walking distance) and the event is less than a half a mile a way. It booked fast last year and it is one of the least costing options.

Holiday Inn Express next closest is booking at $205 a night as is the going rate for many others. That $100 savings for staying two nights covers one ticket at least.

I just wished someone had gave me the heads up last year when I went

 

They better give you guys a discount for all this free pub

 

Or just do like me this year and pass out in your car after the insane bottle shares. Man, the parking around there is simple as hell. Keep your head down and you wont be noticed at all.

We ran out of BA Dark Lord. Lol, jk we have another keg. Tricked ya!

 

I got my room at my house booked, now I just need to line up a DD to drop me off and pick me up.

 

I liked how that 2nd keg was tapped secretly. I was able to get 2 refills before the 2nd keg kicked

 

I just heard this got cancelled, no one buy tickets.

 

I prefer the system of surprise pours. No set times or anything, just randomly open bottles or pour something different. Otherwise you create the monster that was The Bruery line, although that line made it awesome to get better beers so whatever.

 

Holiday Inn Express is the way to go if you're only staying one night, though, as it's the only good option without a two-night minimum.

Wow...if there were 1,000 people there I sure did not run into half of them. I must have had a great system to get beer quick by pure luck. Avoid Bruery "special times" and Dark Lord...check..Hit up Boneyard, Southern Tier, Alpine, and Kern...check

 

How hard is it to get tickets to this? Sell out within minutes hard?

 

Took several hours to sell out last year, I want to say almost half a day??

 

Last year they did 2 releases. One on Black Friday and then another like Feb. 1st or so during the Citra release. The black Friday release was like 500 tickets or so and sold out before I woke back up after the midnight release, the February release was about 10ish hours IIRC.

 

I hear Dr. Dre is going to play with Tupac at this one.

 

Maybe the Wife will extend her Birthday week for this one...
