This Liberation seemed much more mellow and a smaller crowd than the last couple Liberations I've gone to. Lines were quick, bottles pick up was easy, and it was a nice surprise to get a couple Sante pours.

Great event! Drank Zinskin more than anything but lots of great beers. Some nice pours of Mercy Mercy and West Ashley were icing on the cake.

Bretta de Oro was star of the show for me.

For Barrelworks I think bretta de oro was also the top for me
For SARA, I actually liked mercy mercy more than west ashley (although that is still a pretty damn good beer).

The 3 3Ls of Sour Opal they cracked open was a rather nice surprise too. Good times, small crowd, maybe at most 2-3minutes in line and that was for SARA basically as the doors opened, also those lamb chops....if you didn't get any, I apologize, my better half was basically camped out there at a table just going back and forth getting more and more lamb chops. I was kinda surprised they didn't just put the batches in front of her. =P

West Ashley is always awesome and I would have liked to drink more, but I was more into the Barrelworks stuff I hadn't tried yet and Krieky Bones, since I only was able to trade for 1 bottle last year. The Bretta de Oro, Zin Skin, and Sour Opal were all stand outs for me. Though I drank more Krieky Bones than anything else. I didn't try the lamb, but those walnut, goat cheese things were awesome, probably had ~20. FW knows how to do a release, can't want for the XIX anniversary party!

Yeah, lamb chops were probably the best food item they've ever had at a liberation

Bretta de oro was the highlight. That stuff blew everything else away.

West Ashley and Bretta de Oro were the highlights but the Lamb Shanks & Sucaba pairing hit the spot!

Then you didn't go when they had Foie gras with a Bretta Rose reduction sauce... Oh man, I still dream of it.

Not necessarily. A lot of what you see in barrels there can be components to experiments/blends.

Jeffers was pretty coy with a lot of things. Pointing out the James and the Giant peach and the PNC that was in barrels last time, he pointed out that a lot of the beauty of barrel works was that what you see on the barrels isn't necessarily going to come out and can just come out in blended sour of some sort.

And there's always the situation of stuff like regional brett, which just never took to bottles very well.

I was hoping someone might be able to help me out here. I am trying to get a list of all of the Barrelworks sours that they have released so far in bottles. Am I missing any? Thank you for anyone that reads this and helps me out!
