Friends and I are staying at La Quinta, but based on reading this thread it seems we may be heading in the direction of Motel 6 with our bottles for sharing. It would be nice to have some sort of consensus on this so we can meet more of you fine folk!

 

Anyone with FW 10 and 11 plan on going?

 

Does anyone know if this is going to be indoor or outdoor? I can't tell from the map they've posted.

I agree, we need some general consensus as to where most of the bottle shares are taking place. I wonder if some of these motels will let us use their dining areas to allow a bunch of people congregate and drink. Otherwise maybe an open door to your would be a good indicator for bottle share locations. Btw alwaysanswerb, in case you're planning to have a bottle share at La Quinta Inn, we're staying there too. Only thing is we'll be in town by 10pm probably. Hope theses bottle shares last later into the evening.

 

Is this for Friday or Saturday night? We (6 of us) are staying at the Best Western Plus Black Oak (across the street from the event).

Outdoors, and and open indoor area where Mikkler, and Port will be. There are quite a few trees in the area, so the 90 degrees won't feel too bad.

 

Two new pour announcements:

Beachwood is bringing Hop Ninja DIPA and Thrillseeker IPA
Anderson Valley is bringing Wee Geech American IPA and Gatlin Damnosus, a sour barleywine.
Bruery has said "Probably Nottenroth and Tradewinds, plus some rarities in bottles, possibly including Black Tuesday. Sshhhh..."

 

Updated forecast is for a high of 85 degrees F on Saturday. Anything over 90 and my blanket gets drenched rather than merely wet. Anyone what to create a spreadsheet of bottleshares going on???

 

I think the real question is, what pool are we taking over on Friday?

Motel 6 should be buzzing with dreary bottle share searching souls after 6 pm on Sat... I'll be roaming around in my bath salts zombie mode.

 

I can only imagine how many Pizza's are going to be ordered & delivered to hotels all over town.

 

Please keep face eating to a minimum. I have heard BMC drinkers taste the best....
