Just came in here to echo everyone's sentiment...awesome event FW! I was lucky enough to get a pour of Annularity from the fiftyfifty tent. The DL lived up to all expectations...can't wait til next year!

Hope everyone has as good of a time as I did. Poured at the FW booth for about an hour and a half and then hit the rest. Poured a ton on DDBA and Sucaba. All the brewers that I talked with were already looking forward to coming back next year, so I think we've started something good here.

Best festival I've ever been to. And despite my complaints, both Lagunitas and lost abbey each poured one rarity (waldo's and mo Betta bretta). Just brilliantly executed on every front, other than putting 3 Floyd's in the center of the festival. Would have been better at the edge.

That party exceeded my expectations by a long way. Lines moved very quickly and big beers kept flowing. I was certain some things would run out. I was left wanting nothing. I may show up at 130 next year to avoid the stampede. That initial stampede was silly only because there was enough for everyone.

I was near the front of the line when they opened the gates, and the giant crowd of people all b-lining to the Three Floyds booth was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Dark Lord was totally worth it though, and the entire event was a ton of fun.

Wish my group could have made it over that way, but we were too damn comfy in our rooms. We had a great list of beers though... Duck Duck Gooze, Ithaca Brute and LeBlue, Batch 3 Beatification, King Henry, CBS, and a couple bottles of Ruination 10 we received from a very generous friend.

They were pouring BART from bottles as well.

Pizza port had brandy and bourbon BA scotch ales. Ballast Point had Sculpin as well. The Bruery also poured Smoking Wood, Oude Tart, Sans Pagaeia and something else out of bottles. Triple Rock had a stout of some sort.

On the list above it does not have Golden Road Berlinerweisse but they poured it pretty much the whole event and it was probably my favorite beer of the day, the only one that I went back to for multiple pours.

Edit: Alpine was pouring New Millennium as well and Russian River was pouring Saison Blonde

    !!!ADELAIDE!!!
I came away from this trip with a new and/or heightened appreciation of berliner weissbier, Los Angeles classic rap radio, cornhole, sunscreen, tail lights,...and whales, bro.

I just hope I don't end up on the Bad Traders List. That would be so embarrassing!

Honestly I would call them and see if they have the Berliner on tap when you are in LA. I just sent them a email requesting they start canning this beer ASAP. If you go there I might make you bring me a down a growler haha.

I felt the same way about that beer and asked about growlers and they said they do not offer fills of it at this time. Outstanding beer.

Bummer to hear that. I'm really hoping that the feedback they received from the festival will make them think about canning it.

Might be hard to acquire that much lactic acid to make a full run of it.
