Firestone walker beer fest

I would love to trade, but once you get here you will then have access to everything I do, but you probably do already.

 

Something to think about for all of you coming from out of town. Since they opened the restaurant they consistently had very freshly(1-2 week old) bottled Union Jack for sale in 6packs/cases at the restaurant. I get a new one about every week and it has almost always been a newer batch than the last I got. I know when I go out of town I always see older FW beers so figured Id give a heads up

 

Not sure if anybody else was looking for a map but they released one on the site, might have been there the whole time but I never looked being local I know where the venue is. Pretty sweet layout, but I was really hoping Kern would be put in a dark corner.

I had half forgotten how amazing the lineup is, now I'm super excited all over again. Kern, Alpine, and Russian River all in a row will be a tough area to leave.

Was at Cigar City this week and confirmed that they will not make it to the event, the kegs they shipped got frozen and burst. sux

 

It was mentioned on page 4 of this thread I believe. That sucks. I was looking forward to trying what they brought.

 

What time is everybody planning on showing up to the venue? I know doors are at 1, but I don't want to get stuck in the back!

 

I know there has been some talks of possible bottleshare locations, I was curious if there was a spot that everyone has decided on...I have some great bottles I'm interested in bringing, C/C La Folie 07' & 08', 512 Pecan Porter, Toaster, growler of Bad Boy, BA Odin's Raven others just to name a few. Worse case, I'm staying at the La Quinta 1 mile from the event....

Any locals know of place to watch the Pacquiao fight near the Firestone event?

 

Unfortunately a friend of mine who I purchased a ticket for can no longer attend and I have an extra ticket available if anyone is looking. Short notice, but BM me if anyone is interested. Face value. Would prefer OC/IE area.

 

I let NoSignsOfPain know that my friend and I are playing it by ear. We'll be leaving the Bar Area round 9am, checking into our hotel, then more than likely have lunch/early dinner at FW. I'm at Motel 6, so anyone is welcome to come by....or if another location is preferred, that's cool with me. I'm thinking sometime around 6-7pm?

 

I know Downtown Brew usually does Fights/sporting events, I will check when they open if they are having them.

 

I've got a couple of extra tickets if anyone needs 2 tickets to the event, a friend of mine can't go any longer.

Downtown Brew is not having the fight, that is usually the go to place for fights, so not sure where it might be on.
