    Me too. Given how many people drink 805 around SB though I think it makes sense for beach season. Hopefully they move onto Union/Double/Easy Jack soon enough.

    canned double jack would be epic. i realize they bottle it, but for whatever reason even though i'm in LA it seems like i never see any of their IPAs more fresh than a month old. i know it's not terrible, but, you'd think you'd seem them sooner.

    Cool that they're canning, too bad it's 805.
    Pale 31 would be great for cans.

    I have not had the pleasure. It is on my list of must tries. I am currently hooked on Rushing Duck War Elephant, I hope those guys get a canning line. Naysayer in cans would be a dream come true.

    Money.
    805 has to be their best seller in Ventura and SB Counties.

    Any beer geek would prefer Pale 31 or the upcoming Easy Jack.

    Right. Which is why they're not necessarily aiming for beer geeks here. They're aiming for folks looking for a lighter (yet still not BMC) beer they can bring to the beach during the summer months. Money absolutely plays a big role, and beach season is how that comes to fruition with these cans.

    When I was at the brewery at Xmas time, one of the pourers mentioned that 805 Blonde had just recently surpassed Bud or Coors as the best-selling beer in the region. Pretty huge. That beer obviously has widespread appeal and putting it in cans only furthers that.

    Damn, I thought 805 was pure crap and I'm a big fan of FW. Not excited about this at all.

    Now, as others have said, if they canned Pivo Pils and Pale 31 THAT would be exciting!

    805 is worthless. Give me a call when they start canning Pale 31, Double Barrel, Easy Jack or Union Jack. Or even Opal.
