I swear I heard this vicious rumor last year sometime. Has anyone heard anything about FW coming to the Green Mountains?

you can get it in nh if you want it, there's a cool store in west leb that has it. They also have stoneface which is awesome too.

Is this the beverage center right off of I-89 at the West Lebanon exit? If so, I've been there and they have a very nice selection! I used to go there to get Oskar Blues before they finally made their way up here.

Glad Vermonters are finally gonna be able to enjoy some decent beer.

crazy how much the scene has changed in a few years...seems like yesterday that the only hoppy offering in this state was wolaver's & smuttynose IPAs. Harpoon & Long Trail IPAs are (were) good, but definitely not close to what was being brewed in CO, CA, OR & WA...or even MI.
Shit...now have an upcoming tasting i'm hosting...the VT Lupulin Throw-Down with Heady & Focal Banger from Alchemist, Society & Solitude (hopefully...heading up Friday so we'll see) from HF, SOS & Kiwi IPA from Lawson's, 2nd Fiddle from Fiddlehead, Tribute from 14th Star & Fair Maiden from Foley Brothers.

that said...would LOVE to get Brynildson's stuff to the state!

I have heard rumors for years about Firestone Walker coming to CT. Still has not happened.

if FW comes to vt it'll just sit on the shelf next to founders, goose, dales, lagunitas, green flash, etc...

Almost all the big brands in VT have tons of out of date product sitting around collecting dust and taking up tons of shelf space. SN seems to be the lone big-craft brand that moves.

FW is damn good beer. It will be cool for the local VTers to compare to the amazing beer they have there...excited to hear the feedback.

But given that we have issues with freshness even on the West Coast make sure you guys check the bottle dates

There are also several local co-ops that sell Firestone Walker in the Lebanon-Hanover area.

Having lived in NJ drinking sometimes fresh FW I'd say it stands up very well to Heady and Fiddlehead. Lawsons is in its own league IMO.

Yup, that's the one. Very cool store.
Dizaammmn how do I get an invite to that party

On a related note I'm drinking a double jack which is my first FW brew and it is terrible... It's as if I dropped a shot of sambucca in the beer... Gross

I am going to get hammered for this but I would say my order is:
    Abner
    Sip of Sunshine
    Double Jack
    Heady

    I've never had Second Fiddle

I really enjoy all of them. I have done Abner and SOS next to each other and then Heady and Double Jack next to each other and the winner was clear in both instances...

I would agree, just switch Abner and Sip for me. But hey, I'm sure you've got your share of amazing brews up in Washington state. :sunglasses:

Saw Union Jack and Pivo today! I asked the guy if we were going to get some of their crazy shit like Parabola and I was told in some bars for now but we should be included in the release of those when bottles come out and such now too. So nice to not have to send my buddy in California a 4pk of Heady anymore!

Bottles and cans of their regular distro should be hitting shells in Burlington area today and tomorrow

Craft Beer Guild of Vermont did a pre-order in March for it and it should have been delivered this week. My store just south of Burlington got it today. I'm interested to see how it does, we do well with Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada but most other west coast brews sit and sit. That being said, today was our Lawson's day and I am drinking a Union Jack right now.
