Firestone Walker coming to WI

    I just heard FW signed a deal recently to start distributing to WI is there any truth to this? or could the distributor be misinformed.

    This thread title led me to believe it was news of it actually happening. :stuck_out_tongue: That sure would be nice though, no time for trading and would love to finally try their beer.

    Admittedly I should have put "possibly" in the thread title I didn't think about it until after I posted (maybe a kind Mod will change it for me) but the store owner that told me was told by an employee at the distrubutor that a deal had been signed.

    So it sounds like a sure thing but with nothing else to go on but here say I was hoping someone else could confirm this before I get too excited.

    Hmmmm, haven't heard of this. I'll ask them today. Even if they did, it doesn't mean that it will come here any time soon, kind of like revolution signing a deal like a year ago and still aren't here.

    See that is why I started the thread so I guess signing a deal isn't a sure thing. Thanks for the info mike. Still hope this happens though.

    Both said they haven't heard of anything. But, every time I bring up new beer, they hear it from me first. One would assume they would be briefed on it though at least. I'll let you know though, vise-versa if it is true because that is great news.

    It isnt going to happen by years end. No shipment yet, no talks even for distribution end. From our retailer end, its hard making room for them, obviously we have to make room, cutting product is hard. On consumer end, make it a cold product or warm? Input please.

    Yay, we get more 3-month old beer hitting the shelves. It's hard enough as it is to find fresh Union Jack in Illinois. Still, its good to get more choices, even though I'm not much of a Parabola/Merkin fan.

    I'll usually reach for cold DFH 4 or 6 packs since lots of them are pretty hoppy. Big format bottles should be fine warm.

    double jack is one of the best ipas int eh world and easily available. They have bottle dates, their stuff moves even in chi.

    The Distributor is trying to decide what to do with it :slight_smile: Sounds like 8 Cases a salesman... So this weekend or next.
