Anyone received word on when this is expected to hit the shelves? My local beer shop, which had both sucaba and parabola, did not know. Other thread said official release was earlier this week.

I'm going to say it won't make it to Chicago for a month or two. It usually takes that long for their releases to hit our market after their release.

This isn't completely true. I was in Vegas the week of June 10th and it was all over the shelves there.

Talked to a rep yesterday. DDBA is not coming to IL at all. They have too high of demand in their region to ship out here.

Just picked up a bottle at Binny's South Loop. Several other stores had it in various quantities - both in city and NW suburbs.

    D'oh

moral of the story... Never trust Binny's reps unless you know them and you know what they are talking about

Much better than "first in the city to get it" Capones at 19.99. Didn't even get a reach around....

Yeah that place sucks. Always so much more expensive than other stores. I also can't stand how they update beermenus five times a day and often keep limited releases on the list even though they have been sold out for awhile. They had King Henry on their beermenus list for a good month or two after it sold out everywhere else. I stopped by to grab one and the guy said they had been sold out for awhile. I told him to update the beermenus page but he left it up there for another few weeks despite updating multiple times a day. They also falsely list there prices on beermenus. They list bottles at whole dollars amounts but then they charge the extra $.99

That's because Capones Is always higher than most places. You know what grinds my gears? When a store updates their beer menus every 10 minutes. Just stop it Capones!

14.99 at Binny's LP this week

there were quite a few left on the shelf on wednesday

considering the mixed reviews, i don't think this will be flying out of stores like parabola or sucaba
