Anyone pick up any yet? I picked up a bottle last night but to my surprise it wasn't in the typical box and the label says 2012?!? Is this typical of what's out there this year?
The 2013 will not hit NY until at least mid-August I would say, maybe Sept, as it usually takes a few weeks for the Proprietor Reserve Series stuff to make its way east...
I'm actually in Pa these days. I was there when he pulled it out of the box the box said double DBA on it and they were all loose separated by dividers? He was actually suprised himself that they were labeled 2012s being he expected 2013
Very odd, even PA should receive it the same time as NY... what is the bottled date? So the vintage said 2012 on the main part of the label? Very odd each bottle was not individually boxed though
I was on vacation in south jersey last week and saw 8-10 bottles of DDBA at Gourmet Liquors in Galloway NJ. They also had a lot of Sucaba. I assumed it was all 2013.
not uncommon for the fw beers to sit at stores in nj. a place in pennsauken had fw anniv 14 for a good year and a half after release. and not because it was overpriced. it was far from that. not sure why stuff lasts that long. less foot traffic, i guess.
