Same here. My local bottle shop won’t get this so it’s up to the large retailers such as BevMo and total wine.

My one thought is I am traveling from Monterey to Orange County. Might stop by the brewery to see if I can have better luck.

Saw this pack today at a local distributor, packaged on 10/3 I think but didn’t pull the trigger. Double jack is tempting but didn’t want a whole 12 pack to get it

This is how I feel too. There are so many good fresh IPA’s out there there’s no reason to buy a 12 pack of old beer just get 3 old IPA’s.

Hmm, hard to figure it’s not everywhere in Ca, either retailer/distributors don’t know it’s available or they don’t think it will sell. I’ll add putting it in a mixed pack is a really bad idea imo too. I wouldn’t consider 5 weeks old Jack old, but I can buy the others beers in that pack as stand alone, not a great way to reintroduce this.

Damn totally forgot about that porter, that was a favorite for me years ago. I’m a big FW fan in general but mostly that means buying the barrel aged stuff these days. There is so much good to great hoppy beer available in my area I rarely buy anything more than a month old. Would definitely buy double jack if it fit that criteria.

mixed twelve pack of fresh cans - Pivo, UJ, WJ, wookey Jack. Hell even velvet Merlin. Make it happen FW.

Well, I am happy to report from here in Virginia that my guess was WRONG!

Enjoyed a glass of Double Jack on draft today, and it was just as delicious as I remember it. Even better, I left with a growler of it!
