    Here we go again...

I really liked, and appreciate, the way the last thread like this worked. This one will be all the more important to people acquiring liquid because of the notoriously small amount of product we see on these Firestone Walker barrel-aged releases.

In talking with Lisa about our limit at Smith St. I joked that we were going to require customers bring an 11oz container for which to take their 1/2 bottle limit home with them. I can't go less than 1 bottle per person, so I know many will go without. There is no other way to handle this.

Monday, August 24th Spec's Smith St. will be releasing Firestone Walker Helldorado (LIMIT - 1) when we open at 10AM. It will not last. There will be a line. I have no real helpful input beyond that.

Additionally, the following stores will also be receiving product on their regular deliveries throughout the week. I'm unsure of how they will handle it or when they are getting it.

Store numbers can be corresponded with information found at: http://www.specsonline.com/cgi-bin/showpage?pageid=locate&zip=Houston&showmore=more

    Stores by number: 02, 06, 53, 56, 71, 139

    Once again...

ANYONE THAT CAN OFFER ANY INFORMATION ON SIGHTINGS OR RELEASE INFORMATION AROUND TOWN IS UNBELIEVABLY APPRECIATED!

    Happy hunting kids.

Helldorado is hot. I suggest you try to taste a friend's bottle and sit on your own.

For you folks in Clear Lake/Nasa Area..

Called Spec's Clear Lake and talked to Travis (I think?). He said if they get any it might be on the truck Thursday but didnt know anything past that.

Called Nasa Liquor and he stated he might be getting only 1 case (6 bottles) tomorrow afternoon

Thanks @TheGentleman for keeping the Twitter account updated. Since I knew there was still a reasonable amount available at lunch time, I was able to stop by and pick up a bottle.

Just got some at the specs off kirkwood and westheimer over lunch. They had a case left (6). First time there and is one of my new favorite stores. Thanks for the info!

You are correct.. Just went over and bought one and it was 17.99 plus tax. I think I got the last one that was not being held for someone.

Not sure what Spec's was charging for this but I dont mind paying that as the FW Proprietor beers are always very difficult to find down here unless you happen to be over near the Shell station when they post that they have it..

I have only ever been able to get Parabola, Sucaba, Anniv, etc.. when I travel to California on business and find it sitting on shelves at every store I go to..

I've been to NASA Liquor a few times for whiskey, he's pretty reasonable and gets stuff that specs doesn't have yet. It's a small family run store, with great service.

Completely agree with you! They are super nice and really want to talk whiskey! I have bought a few bottles of whiskey from them for under 50 bucks that they recommended. They also let me taste a few bottles they had open behind the counter!
