6 bottles of Anniversary hit Austin. I doubt you'll see more than that if any.

Ballast Point? I think you mean Boulevard right? Andrews hired away a big VP from Boulevard just to come run beer. I could be wrong, maybe Ballast Point had something to do with that hiring.

I talked to one of their craft guys a couple weeks ago, and they have been looking at Ballast Point as a turning point for them. The fact that we had 3 of their limited release beers at the same time is new for them.

Isn't ballast point distributed by Andrews? Fuck its so hard to remember all this stuff.

I was trying to remember what you had said about their big hire yesterday but it escaped me

Actually a few years ago, someone from FW did a talk at Bluebonnet. Adam Firestone showed up and participated in the bottle share as well

I just bought one bottle of 16th Anniversary, it's here. I went to Central Market Plano.

FW XVI is possibly the best barrell aged beer I have had. It's the best beer I had in 2012. One of the best beers I have ever had. Incredible intensity of flavor. Makes Abyss taste lime bud light by comparison. I hope I get my hands on some here in TX.

FW Saucer got loaded up today. The same 7 as everyone else + bottles of 16. Possibly adding more packaged beer but FW is getting held up.

Not sure I can make it to Strangeways but I'm going to try. $5 pours if pretty dope nose

Nice...probably not going to get any bottles of Sucaba or XVI the way they're going. Too much work to just leave and pick up things. Oh well enjoy, fuckers.

Abyss has never had as big of a barrel flavor as a FW anniversary beer IMHO. 16 was pretty tasty. I need to swap for one.

I picked it up easily in Colorado - was not hard to find even well after hitting the shelves. But Texas is really hungry for whales and when the supply is limited we go into a feeding frenzy. As you probably have heard, only a few cases of XVI made it to Texas.

XV was easy to find in Chicago. I've heard it's still sitting on shelves. I got 2 bottles as extras in trades.

I doubt the XVI will be that hard to land.

Tried Pale 31 and DBA, both are great. Bought a sixer of Pale at Central and a bomber of DR13.

David walker will be at CM FW from 1-2 and they are not selling the Oatmeal Stput, 16, or Abacus (fuck the new name) until then

Its clearly not in short supply everywhere, but it's just late getting here. I think if the supply was that short everywhere we would have got none in TX. It was released, when?,.. almost 5 months ago? I got some back in December and it wasn't newly released then.

I hope more XVI shows up in ATX... that might be the best beer FSW has ever made.

Easy to trade for if not. It's gathering dust in a lot of markets right now.
