Firestone Walker Invitational 2018

I decided at 6:59 I didn't want to go this year. Maybe I should have just stuck around to see if I could have gotten a ticket anyway...

 

Tickets acquired, room booked at Adelaide months ago.

 

I did! I'm super pumped about it too. Moved to Cali last year, so it will be my first time. My usual big annual beerfest adventure is Dark Lord Day, but I'm thinking this will be quite different. Looking forward to getting some good tips on where to go, what to bring, etc on here. Cheers!

 

Adelaide pool-side bottleshares friday and saturday night (yes after the festival too).

 

Got my tickets, already have a room at the Adelaide

 

Not me... 6 times I had 2 tix in cart only to see them... disappear. Not sure why I keep trying on this one.

 

I was double fisting computers and my wife was too. It's tough but in my opinion one of the best festivals for your money.

WI in the house! Last year was amazing and so glad I got tickets this year. Now I just have to wait for the Adelaide to free up.

 

Damn, slept through first alarm and then got to play the refresh game for half an hour...

In previous threads it sounds like tickets (and i'm just looking for one) weren't too impossible to find once we start getting closer to the event? (fingers crossed)

Yeah. You'll be able to find at least general admission tickets without any problem. Just keep an eye on this thread/the boards the month leading up to it and you should have no issues. People always end up having to bail.

This is the first year since 2014 that I will not be going and I'm definitely bummed.

 

I can say that 2 years ago I managed to get ahold of a pair of tickets 15 minutes before the gates opened, for cost of course. Hotel rooms are more difficult than festival tickets imo.

 

Honestly, the bottle shares are up there with the festival. If I didn't get tickets my plan was to come up and stay at the Adelaide anyway in hopes of getting tickets and if not just chill out.
