Firestone Walker Invitational 2018

Just booked at The Oaks Hotel, haven’t stayed there but good TripAdvisor reviews and same price as Adelaide. Perhaps I’ll bring one of my remaining 10s, maybe an 11 and XII as well.

 

I stayed there once. The breakfast was pretty legit. Other than that it was a regular room. I’d compare it to a best western or holiday inn express.

 

If anyone knows or has at least one ticket I would take it. Two if possible. Or if anyone knows how to get a hold of thickets let me know. Thank you all!

 

the same advice as every year. Just wait till it's closer to the festival. The number of friends/family/loved ones flaking out is huge. People are unloading tickets like crazy as the event approaches in that final few weeks. I've even seen ticket sales at cost exchange hands with folks who thought they weren't going but ended up driving up that morning because others dropped out.


No need to beg now, the tickets will flow as the festival gets closer.

Can anyone speak to the line/crowd at Venice right now ?

 

70 in line as of a few minutes ago. 60 full allocations available.

 

Over heard that the limit was cut to 6

 

Venice cut to 6 bottles and just barely allocations for those in line currently at 11:30.

 

Great job by the Venice Firestone team. Cutting the limit allowed many more people to get bottles.

 

About when does that happen?

True, but don't lose faith. Bottle Shares tend to spontaneously erupt in many of the other hotels too. It's enviable when you have so many beer enthusiasts and industry people stuck in the same small town, in the same hotels with more beer then they know what to do with
