Yes, I remember seeing the Chicken & Beer place on our walks around the U shape terminals.

Dang! my arrival gate was right in front of this place today. Would have stopped in if I had read your post. Oh well, next time I pass thru LAX...

We really need a BA's guide to airports.

The technique I use to find a decent beer at airports I don't already know is to pull up the untappd map and see what people are checking into the various restaurants. Pretty labor intensive, unfortunately, though it gives you something to do while your plane is taxiing up to the gate.

LAX is mostly pretty weak. Right now I think the best beer airport I've been to lately has been SFO.

It’s been a while, but I remember Portland being pretty good.

Yeah, PDX remodel is almost done and you can grab pints of fresh IPA from several local breweries at the Made in Oregon store to drink in the terminal in addition to a few spots with dozen of taps.

Stone Arch in Minneapolis is easily the best I've been to in past year.

Love Stone Arch. Shout out to my Delta Hubs. Shout out to Cat Cora's in DTW.

Feels like this needs it's own thread.

Question on the tickets. Do you get anything additional with the early admission tickets outside of getting in an hour earlier?

I took a quick look at last year’s thread and didn’t see much, I’m guessing that there’s probably some stuff floating around on social media but that seems like a lot of effort…

I did notice that the cost jumped up a lot this year though. Last year was $135 GA and $270 VIP; this year it’s up to $175 and $350. Yowza

VIP is just early entry. That said, if you get them tickets and wanna offload I am your person.

I would gripe more on prices if this event wasn't such a bargain for most of its existence. Food included and was $85 in recent memory for GA. I'll happily support the continued existence of this event at a markup.

    im jealous of everyone going.
if i had friends that cared for beer I'd go as splitting travel and lodging is always a plus, but here we are...sad and lonely!

Got tix, stoked as always. Price point though is getting steep. At least it's for charity.

That's kinda crazy though for $200 more and you only get an hour?! My friend thought it came with a shirt and some extras. I don't see that written anywhere, so that's probably it!

Given prices at the bar and the fact that food is included it's still not terrible.

A day of dedicated drinking outside the house is gonna cost a cool $80 just in beer that days. And you're not drinking like that without buying some overpriced food along the way.

Theoretically this comes with elite level beers, new beer friends, nerding out with brewers, and some money to charity.
