It's going to be hot in Paso, but it's pretty dry here so the heat isn't intolerable unless you are from SF or Seattle. There will be plenty of water stations and enough shade to camp out in a take a break.

Heard through the grapevine that this is what Cigar City will be pouring...Brandy Hunahpu's, Gates of Hell, Siftung (Berliner Weiss) , White Oak Jai Alai...Let's hope this is true...

Nice. Berliner Weiss will be just what we need in that heat.

Yes but jockey boxes with kegs in tubs of ice that will turn to warm water quickly will not..

Guess that just means we need to drink faster.

Last year did most of the breweries send brewes/employees along to pour?

I think like 80% had brewers of some sort, maybe even more I drank a lot.

I, too, hope this is true. There were at least a few breweries who brought more than two different kegs, and many had special bottles that were poured at a specific, announced time.

What time do the bottleshares start on Friday at the Adelaide? I am flying in from Portland Friday Morning and spending the day in LA before the drive north. Dont want to miss the bottleshares but also dont want to get to boring Paso Robles too early.

Also, any Portland beer requests to bring down for the share?

Having lived in both cities and now residing in so-cal..103 isn't ideal. luckily we can take our mind off off it and stay cool with icecoldwhalesbro.

So you are going to land in Portland Friday, Drive the ~13-14 hours to LA, then 3 Hours back to Paso all before the Bottle shares start? Sounds like the 16 hours of driving will keep you busy enough.

"flying in from Portland", not sure how you missed that, actually sounds like about three hours driving, exactly.
