Firestone Walker Invitational bottle shares

I was lucky enough to try one! They were bomb.com

 

Wow, that bottle share was a fest in and of itself! I sampled more rare beer in one sitting (standing?) that I ever have before. Met some great people too. Now I'm up at 6am on fest day like a kid on Christmas. See the rest of you lucky souls there soon!

 

Thanks to whoever brought the Prop, Rare Barrel, and Cantillons... awesome stuff.

 

Congrats to John and Candice for getting engaged.
I know there was a 2nd proposal, but didn't get the chance to meet the lucky couple.

Thanks for the shout out! I'm one lucky guy to have a lady that would say yes at a beerfest. The other couple was Matt and Allison congratulations to them as well.

 

Yup, we were the second (temporally first) engagement on Friday. What a way to celebrate! Had such a great time meeting all of you, and sharing some Texas love was awesome. My friend who brews for Saint Arnold will be floored when he hears about the reception rum Pumpkinator received. Can't wait to break bread with y'all again.

And thanks to the room 200 guys - I tore through my bottles way too fast at the pool, but y'all kept the party alive.

 

It was a terrific first experience for me, was at the Adelaide pool both Friday and Saturday night (it is a shame they close it down so early).

Is that the pumpkin beer that was pouring Friday night by the pool? Couldn't remember the name of it for the life of me. Absolutely loved that one

 

Room 200 was awesome. Got a little crazy near the end on Saturday night (props to my girl for staying through that). :-)
Looking forward to seeing you guys again at the next release/party.

 

Fun event! Weird that they ran out of food so early and the lines were so long.

I'm glad I got rid of my Adelaide hotel room. Renting a house produced a pretty crazy party.

First time at the Adelaine and ending Friday by helping the Police officer clean up just part of what looked like 200 bottles was crazy. Thanks all for bringing all the rare stuff. I think the beer poured on the grassy area was more amazing then what I had at the Festival (not knocking the Festival...just thanking all that shared).

To the boys&girls by the pool Friday night, you guys were great. Glad no one fell in

 

They didn't fall in, but someone pissed their pants when trying to make it to the bathroom by the pool so it just looked like they fell in.

 

Holy fuck really ? Damn we left too early then.

 

Ha! The older guy with the cane? After he dropped his glass? He was in MUCH worse shape later that night, I saw him being carried to his room damn near. Too much weed and beer.
