My brother and I are in, but staying at the Best Western, would love to partake in the room tasting crawl.

If you'll welcome one of your brethren from Chicago, my wife and I will be staying at the Adelaide as well. This is our second year attending the fest and we made the wise move from The Oaks to The Adelaide to get a little closer to the pre-game action.

    Trying to find a room....SOLD OUT.....EVERYWHERE.
    Anyone have a recommendation.
Anyone got room for 2 people to crash a couch?
Any help is appreciated. Will pay more than fair share.

Worst case we sleep in car and wait to sober up before driving back.

I did the sleep in the car situation last year. Not even an issue as most of the night was spent drinking at shares and then just stumbling to the car and passing out. Put your seat back and no one will even look twice.

Good enough for me (did CFH the last couple years...driving from SF and camping out)....problem is I had the cruelty/thoughtfulness (you decide) to invite my gf to the event. She watched the video before I bought tix and thought it would be fun/cool. I had no idea we would get locked out of finding a hotel. Live and Learn. C'est La Vie!

Rooms might open up as we get closer to the fest. Last year I didn't have a room booked until a few days before when something opened up at the Oaks. I'm hoping something cheaper than my absurdly overpriced room at the Courtyard becomes available.

Supposedly there are blocks of rooms that will soon be released per the FW web page.

Where should I stay in Paso?
Here is where we recommend staying, you *must* mention the Firestone Beer Fest to a) secure a room, and b) get a discount! Rooms are going fast so do not wait to book. Block room rates are available at hotels noted with drop dates below:
    Adelaide Inn (drop date: 4.15.14)
Black Oak Best Western (drop date: 4.15.14)
    Courtyard Marriott (drop date: 5.1.14)
Hampton Inn & Suites (drop date: 4.30.14)
Holiday Inn Express (drop date: 5.1.14)
La Quinta Inn & Suites (drop date: 4.30.14)
The Oaks Hotel (drop date: 5.1.14)
Paso Robles Inn (drop date: 4.30.14)

That is SUPER helpful info. Thank you to you and everyone sharing your knowledge.
Adelaide and Black Oak have nothing unfortunately. I will wait for the others.
Is Adelaide the only bottle share venue? If BMing makes more sense, let me know (or just BM me).

I have a room at the Adelaide that I am going to cancel.

Are we allowed to bring bottles into the fest? It seems weird to have a bottleshare there but I am down!

No, the bottle shares are typically the nights before and of the festival at the nearby hotels.

Thanks to those of you that sent me a message about "HaveUSeenMyCellar." I don't want any drama so I did not give him my room.

I am looking forward to meeting some of you folks at Firestone bottleshares! And the fest!

anyone have a ticket they need to back out on? Looking for one, the gf wouldn't be too happy if she doesn't get to join me inside.

Coming up from Mexico with a group of friends and would love to partake in some of the Pre/Post festivities and meet other fellow BA's. Will appreciate any invitations or info on where the bottleshares will be at. We are so excited to be there.

    Cheers!

Taking the fifth wheel to the Wine Country RV resort down on Hwy46. Tried to bottle share there 2 yrs ago and almost got kicked out. I'll probably look some of you guys up on Fri.
