I actually think I may have slept in my car for part of one of the nights I was there. Alcohol induced, not due to bedbugs haha

Right on. I'd ask more questions but I don't want to completely derail the thread.

I'm really looking forward to this festival. I don't go to many beer festivals these days but I heard so many good things last year I had to jump on it. I hope all the breweries bring their A game.

Same. I felt like everyone I knew in LA went and all I heard was "best beer event ever". I made sure I'm not missing out this year.

Damn. I got mine for $180 a night from Fri-Sun. Prices obviously went WAY up.

I'm staying out on the coast in Cambria and getting drop off by my wife the morning of. Last year I got there an hour early and was near the front of the crowd. This year I think I'll show up closer to the start time.

I'm going to try and land a pair of tickets a few weeks before the event.

Does anyone have any info on the block rates at some of the hotels FW lists on their website?

I can't wait. Really glad I bought tickets THEN decided to plan our yearly vacation around it.

Looking forward to any bottleshares that will be happening (if y'all will have me). Can also bring some stuff down for IP trades or whatever.

Cheers fellas and I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of ya.

    Best Western here.

Is there a sign up sheet for the bottle shares or do people just show up with random bottles?

Also, for those of you who did do shares after the event, how late did you guys start them? I'd imagine most people would be hammered by the end of the event and the prospect of drinking even more beer in the evening might be a little intimidating for lightweights (like me). Still, though, a share sounds fun even if it's just for a few pours.

When I called Aidelaide a few months ago, they had a 2 night requirement.

I plan on filling a cooler with trades/bottleshares. I anticipate spontaneous transactions.

We could probably start an IP ISO a few days before the event. If someone is looking for a particular beer someone might be able to hook them up.

I meant before and after. I can understand that they don't want outside beer coming into the festival.
