Buellton bottles were in generic 12 bottle Firestone cases with a Parabajava sticker/label. The bottles aren't individually boxed like the reserve series ones that come six per case.

Thank you. Why the hell are people questioning this?

Makes sense, as Maltose was the same way last year. So, total of 6k bottles. Makes me happy, cuz if it'd been 91 6-bottle cases, I would've missed out (and I don't give a shit about trade value).

Ya, I have no idea what I was looking at either lol. My bad. Could have sworn I saw 6. Anyways, glad I got my hands on some amazing beer.

TBH, I was just going off what I was told by FW employees. Either way, I could care less. Fantastic beer and fantastic experience meeting with fellow beer enthusiasts.

Agreed. After getting my 4, I went over to the Restaurant and sat at the bar where I had a glass of Parabajava and an amazing burger to wash it down with. Also got to purchase a bottle right there at the bar.

Every time I see a thread about Firestone Walker's Barrel aged beers all I can think is "DISTRO TO MINNESOTA MFERS!"

2 1/2 hour drive there and I think I had a little attitude by the time I finally got to purchase my bottles. Heard it was a coffee bomb, but I was really surprised by the balance. This beer was fricking amazing. Some jerk off in line was trying to buy bottles from others for double the price. I was happy no one near me sold anything to him.

Cracked my first bomber this morning (coffee beer, so it has to be with breakfast, right ); this might be the 14% talking, but the distance between this and KBS is the same as the distance between KBS and a cup o' joe from 7-Eleven with a splash of Wild Turkey.

I was able to grab my bottles. showed up at paso at about noon only 15-20 people ahead of me in line. Anyone know how early the first person got there?

I got to Paso at 9 and there were 25-30 people already in line. Got 4 from the store and then 4 from the visitor center and left at 12:30

Yeah, got there around 11:45 or so and about 15 folks ahead at the brewery store. The visitor center line was about twice as long. Will crack a tailgate bottle at Stanford/Notre Dame game, then ration the rest. It's crazy how popular the barrel aged are getting. I could buy 2013 Parabola in a 12 bottle case. Limited me to 6 in 2014, then 4 for 2015.

He deleted his post shortly after he made it. People captured screen shots of it before he deleted it though. They keep reposting it in the beer trading groups on Facebook. Someone reported him to Firestone Walker. Supposedly, they're looking into what action can be taken against him.

Lets not forget he was/is asking $80 a bottle!

Ya, I arrived around 930am. After I got my 4 from the Brewery Store, I walked over to the restaurant and had lunch and noticed that pretty much all the people that were in front of me at the brew store were now in line at the visitor center. So, no doubt a lot of people walked away with 8 beers.

I don't know the rest of the story, but what kind of "action" could a brewery take against someone buying a shit-load of their product? How about the location that allowed him to buy it?

It was only sold at the brewery locations, and was limited to 4pp. Using mules and turning around to resell at a 300% markup might or might not be illegal, but if I were FW, I'd put the guy on my lifetime shit-list, and just refuse to sell him tickets to any future events. Of course, he'd just send proxies, so now I just feel sad.
