Don't know for sure, but there could be some at Best Buy Market (805-484-4343) in Camarillo... I got some '12 Parabola there not too long ago, so I get the sense they manage to hold onto things longer than some places.

Someone may have already mentioned this, but Schneiders has a couple bottles left and should be getting Stickee Monkee in tomorrow. I think it was something like $22 per bottle.

Any chance you want to trade one of those '12's?

Sorry if this was covered but the search function didnt pick anything out...

Does anyone know why 2014 Sucaba is labeled "Proprietor's Reserve" and 2014 Parabola is labeled "Vintage"? FW's website now lists Double Jack, Wookie Jack and Opal as "Proprietor's Reserve", and Parabola, Sucaba, Double DBA etc. as "Proprietor's Vintage". Was there a change mid-year in their labeling system?

Seems that the '14 Parabola has been one of the most well-received vintages. I've heard nothing but praises for this year's bottling. I still haven't cracked any open yet...

It looks like a simple lable change. The Stickee Monkee is also labeled "Vintage".

had the 2014 on memorial day. it was fantastic, and just as others have indicated, not hot at all. i did get another couple to age, so I'm looking forward to next year!

Having had 2014 on tap twice (and being able to score 6 bottles total) my desire for KBS has been quelled.

Interesting you mention KBS. That's what I used to trade for my Parabola!

I would totally trade some KBS to get a Parabola.

It's definitely going to be bad. You shouldn't buy any of them....On an unrelated note, where is this store?

My friend was just at FSW, and they're limiting people to one bottle per person now.

Saw a bottle at the Corner Foodery in Philly yesterday, asked the price.

32 dollars. I literally laughed out loud and walked out. F that place.

They had Abyss late last year for 40.00 a pop.
    Pass.
I asked the reasoning behind the price mark up, they said they wanted to be sure that more than one person would get to try it.
Translation: If you won't buy it, somebody else will.
Competitors in a six block radius had it at a more reasonable 23.99 range.

I just went there yesterday and was excited to see a ton of the limited firestone beers but no wonder they hang onto it longer, they change like double retail price their prices are insane! They had 2013 DDB, 2013 Parabola and 2014 Parabola for $30, XVII for $49 and XVI for $59 or $69. I understand jacking up the prices on the previous year bottles but 2014 Parabola and XVII have not even been superseded yet. F that place and its price gouging owner.
