I mean they have to make money, its a business. Just perspective, that kbs cost was probably around 2.50 a btl, 10 dollars for a bottle is pretty insane. A case of miller light bottles is 18 bucks cost, whats a six pack go for, 6.99?

It's been sitting on the shelves of at least three or four of my usual spots for a couple of weeks now. Don't remember seeing it around this long in the past. Not the best vintage imo, but still..

Anyone aware of a Chicago store that still has it? Doesn't appear any of my spots got it on beer menus.

Don't use Beer Menus for Parabola. It's gone before they could even update it. I'm sure (or maybe not) there is a bottle floating around somewhere, but don't know where.

I'd be willing to wager it's all gone here. That stuff moves FAST in this area. Like at most a day. You might find one at a remote location however. Good luck!

your only chance is to get absolutely lucky. I scored one bottle when it came out and would love more but wont waste my time even looking for it at this point.

Soo...I now have a completed 6 year Parabola vertical 2011-2016 that I am going to surprise a buddy of mine for the birth of his daughter. It is his push present  I don't know how many of us there will be. Probably 3-4. I was thinking about getting those little 6oz brandy snifters for each year, for each person. So each person gets 6 of the snifters so that we can go back and forth trying the different years and comparing, rather than having 1, washing the glass out and then opening another one. So, I am going to need about 24 brandy snifter. They don't need to be fancy, but they need to be glass. Anybody know where online I can buy some decent ones in bulk? This link is the best I found so far. It is $23.99 for a case of 12.

No help re: glassware, but man, 1.5–2 bottles of Parabola per person in one tasting is pretty intense. I feel accomplished when I make it through 1 bottle in a single evening. Then I fall asleep.

It is a bit heavy. The thing is, I only want people in it who will absolutely enjoy it. There is 3 of us that are for sure all about parabola tasting the different years, possibly a 4th. A couple others I have in mind don't know what parabola is. They appreciate a good drink, but they don't understand the significance of all this lol. But, I will see. That just means now I need to get 3 cases of 12 snifter glasses? lol

Okay, now I get it. At first I was thinking there's no way this guy could possibly say something more annoying than his last comment, but then you managed to- time and time again. I now realize this is just some epic trolling, and I'm actually pretty impressed!

Not trolling bud! Actually trying to see if anyone has a good site that sell cases of 5-6oz sifters. My apologies if whatever I said didn't seem legit or seemed bad in any way that warranted a response like yours. Please point out the annoying part. Maybe I can rephrase, or not make the same mistake next time. I am proud that I finally got to complete a vertical set of Parabola. I am new to all of this and didn't think it was going to be possible for me to get my hands on 2011-2013 Parabolas, especially since I didn't know of this scene, let alone Parabola more than 2 years ago. Didn't mean to come off as a douche my sharing that. Was not my intent.

Definitely will. It is going to be a while though. His daughter isn't due for a few months. Just trying to organize all this.

I am looking forward to the 2011-2013. Haven't had the opportunity to try those years. Didn't know about all this stuff back then.

They're all still tasting great, I open at least one bottle a year from every vintage and even the 2010 is still good. Although the fresh release has been consistently better than the aged bottles until this years release. It has an astringent bitterness that is pretty disappointing imo.

I like this years release, although 2015 was better, and 2014 was even better.

The markup in your example is 50%, not 150%.
