A buddy picked up a bottle of parabola at a local wholefoods in southern California (OC) this pass weekend. This could be another wave of shipment or wholefoods received it late from their distributors.

Could be a random bottle? My whole foods still has XIX and a bunch of Sucaba left.

I bought several to drink and cellar, I think the 2016 is great. Some places down here in SoCal marked up the prices to $25.99, they are still sitting there.

I'll one up the Costco Parabola option with the following at a Seattle area Costco:

Yes, this is the Ninkasi Bourbon Barrel-Aged Ground Control Stout.

Firestone Walker doesn't have a Space Program, thus they can afford to cut Parabola's price a little.
    (all in fun

I mean, Parabola is both cheaper and exponentially better, so I'm not sure this is much of a one up...

just try amazon. i picked up a case of basic nonic pints and a case of nonic half pints cheaply a few years back. i got them dirt cheap. they also have become my daily water, juice etc cups and are still holding up fine after all this time.

Of course not. Simply in jest. Parabola is on an entire different level.

    I don't care what he's serving.
I'm not going to a tasting that is his friend's "push present." I couldn't and still look at myself in the mirror

KBS in so Cal was ranging from $20-25 a four pack and Parabola goes for around $16 a bottle. Crazy pricing!

That's a world class price without limits! I'd buy it all.

I work for an ABInBev distributor and I've been told that our profit is on average $2.85 per case we sell. Some packages on the retailer's margin is less than 31%. Some retailer margins are as low as 20% depending on the package.

It was a joke dude. Jesus! Are you that insecure about yourself? He is a big Parabola fan like I am. He has been wanting to do a Parabola vertical like I have. He is having a girl in a few months. So, I've been rounding up some Parabolas for a vertical to toast to the birth of his daughter. Such a horrible thing to do, right? Look at yourself in the mirror? Are you that insecure? I mentioned the "push present" because that is all the woman talk about. So, as a joke I said "push present" for him.

You're best off assuming @SammyJaxxx is a far manlier man than you can even imagine, who would never cork a bottle rather than soloing it, and would shoot himself if he ever displayed even a hint of weakness.

    Haha, exactly.

Damn, I had no idea me setting up a vintage beer vertical to toast the birth of my buddies daughter would make me less of a man. Welp, I'll just pour out the beers and cancel the vertical.

I don't doubt that, I am sure some beers are more, some are less. I didn't come up with this but it seems relatively reliable.
